- We recruit and train between 4 – 6 apprentices each year
- Recruitment commences in February starting at the annual Training 2000 Careers Event (see T2000 website for details)
- Apprenticeships are based on a 4 Year Programme in conjunction with Training 2000
- Year 1 – Training 2000 Full Time to learn the ‘basics’ of engineering
- Year 2, 3 & 4 – Senior Aerospace Weston, where you will gain experience in both the Aero-structures and Aero-engine Divisions and work in various roles and departments throughout the company.
- Academic learning is via weekly attendance on ‘Day-Release’ to college or Training 2000
- You will achieve BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- There are further opportunities to extend your academic education to HND & Degree Level status
- The Apprenticeship Programme provides a solid platform for career progression in your chosen field:- Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Manufacturing Management
